Valid JSON and valid schema are two different questions.
Paste a JSON-LD block, or the whole <script> tag around it. This checks the syntax parses, then checks it against the fields Google's own structured-data documentation calls required or recommended for the type you're using. A lite pass, not a replacement for Google's Rich Results Test before anything ships.

Covers Organization, LocalBusiness, Product, Article/NewsArticle/BlogPosting, FAQPage, BreadcrumbList, Review and WebApplication. Anything outside those still gets a JSON validity check.
What "lite" means here
- This checks structure and the presence of fields — it cannot confirm your
logoURL actually resolves, or that yourdatePublishedis really the date the page went live. Google's Rich Results Test does that against the live URL. - A missing "recommended" field will not disqualify a rich result on its own, but it does reduce which rich-result features Google is willing to show for that page.
